Keyboard for Macintosh – Apple Wireless Bluetooth Keyboard Review

Apple Wireless Keyboard is an elegant and simple keyboard that fits well next to your TV. It has quick access keys such as volume, eject, play and pause buttons. It works with bluetooth technology so you do not need any wires which is essential in the home theater use. While you can do without a keyboard in the living room, if you are ok to use on screen keyboard on windows or Mac. However, if you do any email writing or other typing activities, it becomes essential to purchase a keyboard.

Why
Apple wireless keyboard has very stylish design and fits well into the living room together with my Mac Mini. The bluetooth range is excellent and I can use the keyboard from a distance without any problems. I had some range issues with my previous wireless keyboards. Hotkeys in the keyboard are well placed and useful and I can use the keyboard as remote control for most Mac OSX applications. Although keyboard is smaller and slimmer than normal keyboards, the keys are large enough and it is comfortable to write with the keyboard. The function keys works well with the different applications and particularly volume control and play/pause functions have proved to be very useful. Also you can have a quick look at your dashboard by pressing the dashboard hot key.

All in all, I have been very pleased with the keyboard and would recommend it to anyone owning a Mac Mini in the living room.
